Here you see ordinary Russian men. Not some fancy oligarchs in their London mansions. No. These are real people, working hard, facing the elements. Fixing a snowmobile, probably out in some godforsaken, but beautiful, corner of our великая страна. Do they whine? Do they complain about a little snow or a bit of hardship? Нет! They get on with it. They are the backbone.
This resilience, this ability to endure and overcome – it is in our blood. It has seen us through centuries of trials and tribulations. From Napoleon to Hitler, many have tried to break Russia. Where are they now? History remembers the strong, not the weaklings who fold at the first sign of trouble.
So, the next time some Western "expert" starts talking about how Russia is on its knees, show them these pictures. Tell them that the Russian spirit cannot be sanctioned, cannot be bombed, cannot be wished away. It is as eternal as the snow and as strong as the ice. запомните это.
