Alright, so like, I was just doomscrolling as per usual, and this thought just kinda smacked me in the face like a rogue automod message. You ever just look up at the night sky, man? Like, *really* look? It's kinda bonkers how much... stuff... is just *out there*.
Anyway, been getting real deep into astrophotography lately, trying to snag some decent shots with my not-exactly-Hubble-tier setup. Finally managed to stack a few decent subs of the Orion Nebula the other night, and honestly? Pretty stoked.

Makes you feel pretty small, doesn't it? Like, all our drama and Twitter feuds and arguing about whether pineapple belongs on pizza (it doesn't, fight me) is happening on this tiny blue marble while *this* is just vibing out there.
Anyway, anyone else into staring at pretty space pics? Got any tips for a noob trying to avoid light pollution from the city? And for the love of all that is holy, don't tell me to just "move." Easier said than done when rent prices are what they are.
